Questions About Our Packages
When should I book my maternity session?
We recommend booking your maternity session when you're around 12-16 weeks pregnant. This ensures we have availability for your ideal date. The actual session takes place between 30-36 weeks, when your bump is beautifully visible but you're still comfortable. For the Bump to Baby package, booking early also secures your newborn session.
When should newborn photos be taken?
Ideally, newborn sessions take place when your baby is 7-14 days old. This is when they're still sleepy and can be comfortably posed in those curled-up newborn positions. However, we also offer lifestyle newborn sessions for babies up to 6 weeks old. For Bump to Baby clients, we pencil in your due date and adjust once your little one arrives.
What should we wear for our sessions?
For maternity sessions, we recommend flowy dresses that emphasize your bump, in neutral or earthy tones that complement the golden hour light. We have a client closet with maternity gowns available to borrow.
For newborn sessions, we suggest neutral, solid colors for family members. For baby, we provide all wraps, swaddles, and simple outfits, though you're welcome to include special items with meaning to your family.
Can we include siblings and partners in the sessions?
Absolutely! All our packages include partners and siblings at no extra cost. Family connections are an essential part of your story. For newborn sessions with siblings, we always take time to help them feel comfortable and included in the experience.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, especially for our Bump to Baby Journey package. We typically require a 50% deposit to secure your booking, with the balance due before your maternity session. For the journey package, you can split payments between your maternity and newborn sessions. Contact us to discuss options that work for your situation.
